Abstract

Rational synthetic expansion of photoresponsive ligands is important for photopharmacological studies. In this study, the photoresponsive and receptor-selective ligand, photoNECA(blue), was synthesized for the adenosine A2A receptor, and its crystal structure was determined. This complex structure explains the binding mode and photoresponsive mechanism of photoNECA(blue).
