Abstract
Considerable purchase and maintenance costs of high-field NMR instruments restrict their applications in bio- and chemical laboratories. Benchtop spectrometers offer an affordable alternative, but are limited in their sensitivity and resolution. Herein, we demonstrate how parahydrogen based nh-PHIP hyperpolarization can be used to circumvent these hindrances, allowing to detect and resolve a mixture of dilute amino acids on an 80 MHz spectrometer.
