Abstract

We elucidate the piezoelectric properties of Perovskite type oxides (ABO3): Pb(Zr1-x,Tix)O3, Pb(Mn1-x,Nix)O3-PbTiO3, and lead free KNbO3 for health science application. The electro-mechanical coupling constants for plate thickness vibration mode (k) of those materials in inverse piezoelectric effect were calculated from impedance and phase at resonance and anti-resonance frequencies. The reverse piezoelectric d33 constants as following (strain, and electric displacement via P-E hysteresis) of those materials were also estimated theoretically. For an application, the blood pressure monitoring by above piezoelectric sensor use was investigated.
