Abstract

Abstract The crystal structure of calcium 2R,3R-tartrate tetrahydrate salt is reported. The absolute configuration of the crystal was unambiguously established using anomalous dispersion effects in the diffraction patterns. High quality data also allowed to locate and freely refine all hydrogen atoms, and therefore to careful analyze hydrogen bonding interactions.
