Abstract

This finding demonstrates the synthesis and characterization of a molybdenum-based complex, namely [cis-MoO2(BHAN)2]. The characterization process involved the application of various spectroscopic techniques, including IR, ESI-MS, UV-VIS, and NMR. Additionally, the structural analysis was conducted using Density Functional Theory (DFT), demonstrating excellent concordance with experimental results. The successful synthesis and isolation of cis-MoO2(BHAN)2 in a highly pure form can be confidently concluded based on these findings. This abstract encapsulates the key aspects of the study, emphasizing the comprehensive approach to both synthesis and characterization of the molybdenum complex.
