Abstract

Alkenylammonium salts are a unique class of compounds, wherein an electron-withdrawing ammonio group is attached to olefin. Although these salts are structurally simple, the synthesis of α-substituted alkenylammonium salts has been less explored. Herein we report the synthesis of α-aryl and α-alkynylated alkenylammonium salts through Suzuki–Miyaura and Sonogashira coupling.
