Abstract

As a low-cost, non-toxicity, metal-free, and high-potential material, the electrochemical properties of NHydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) is an NHPI/Zinc battery in an aqueous system are studied. The columbic efficiency of the battery is nearly 80%. However, due to the corrosion of the zinc anode and the defect of the Nafion membrane (separator), more research needs to be done.
