Abstract

Herein a radically initiated polymerization process was used to generate novel bamboo composites. The materials were bio-compatible and showed near linear behavior in terms of elasticity. They were thermally stable and could be stored at room temperature for extended period of time. This provides a simple and cost effective method of producing new ecofriendly composited for several applications
