Ti(OiPr)4-Enabled Dual Photoredox and Nickel-Catalyzed Arylation and Alkenylation of Cyclopropanols

Abstract

In this article, we report an application of cyclopropanols as coupling partners in the dual photoredox/nickel catalyzed reaction with aryl and vinyl bromides. We found that this cross-coupling proceeds smoothly in the presence of Ti(OiPr)4 as an additive to provide β-aryl or γ,δ-unsaturated ketones.
