Ken Sakaushi

Senior Researcher
Tsukuba, Japan
Ken Sakaushi is currently a Senior Researcher in Center for Green Research on Energy and Environmental Materials, NIMS. He studied physics (B. Sci. in 2008) and chemistry (M. Sci. in 2010) at Keio University, and received his Ph. D. in 2013 from IFW Dresden / TU Dresden with a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Grant for PhD studies under supervision of Prof. Dr. J├╝rgen Eckert and Prof. Dr. Stefan Kaskel. His doctoral studies focused on the synthesis of well-organized metal-organic or purely organic frameworks to investigate their electronic structures in order to understand correlations on structure-electrochemical energy conversion properties. Upon completion of his doctorate he joined to Colloid Chemistry Department of Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces directed by Prof. Dr. Markus Antonietti on a Max-Planck-Society Fellowship. Since 2015, he is a tenured member in NIMS. Further Information:
