Unraveling Fullerene-Perovskite Interactions Introduces Advanced Blend Films for Performance-Improved Solar Cells

Abstract

Through the identification of specific perovskite fullerene interactions, the relevance of derivatizing a fullerene for perovskite: fullerene blend films is linked to the final device performance. With advanced understanding of perovskite-fullerene complexes, a structurally-optimized fullerene is synthesized and used for improving the performance and proving its universality for several device configurations.
