A phosphine ligand free manganese(I)-complex catalyzed the selective anti-Markovnikov hydroamination of allylic alcohols via waste-free hydrogen transfer mechanism. The γ-amino alcohol products are versatile synthetic intermediates for the synthesis of several drug molecules.
